Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Source new customer base and contribute to increasing Air consolidation volumes for all key trade lanes, as required by the Sales manager/team.
  • Achieve sales targets in terms of revenue and volume.
  • Manage the Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Monitor and upgrade credit limits for existing and new clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to grow revenue.
  • Identify and target prospective new customers.
  • Resolve problems through collaboration with local management team regarding customer issues.
  • Maintain ‘GACSales’ database for prospects and current customers within territory.
  • Promote self-development and enhance market & competitor knowledge.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification Post graduate or MBA holder

Professional Qualification Diploma in International Transport and Supply Chain Management

Specialist Knowledge High level of industry knowledge

Communication / Language Excellent English communication skills with high level of business writing skills, presentation skills, ability to integrate with various nationalities and assist in achieving group dynamics

Computer Aptitude Proficient with MS Office and MS Outlook

Detailed Experience Levels Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role and 3-5 years’ working experience in the UAE

  • Time Management: Skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and ensure that sales targets are met consistently.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to address customer needs and improve sales processes.

  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.

  • Performance Monitoring: Experience in setting performance metrics, conducting reviews, and providing feedback to the sales team to drive improvement.
