Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive - Paramedic in Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel. The Paramedics’ primary responsibility is to provide immediate care and treatment to guests and colleagues who require medical attention in accordance with their medical training. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Provide rapid intervention and management in the event of emergencies.
  • Provide emergency medical care within the Madinat Jumeirah Resort and immediate surroundings.
  • Provide primary and ongoing health care.
  • Makes sure that treatment area is a sterile environment. i.e.: All equipment that has been sterilised is dry and in the proper place. Emergency trolley is fully stocked, and clinic is clean and tidy.
  • Checks all equipment and make sure that it is all in good working order and ready at all times.
  • Checks oxygen and safety equipment.
  • Follows medical waste procedures as stated in SOP.
  • Contacts security supervisor for any accidents or for off-site referral.
  • Informs security Director/Manager if a potential safety hazard has been identified.
  • Routine review of SOP and makes changes when necessary through Mercury.
  • To assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Madinat Jumeirah Emergency Evacuation and Operations Plan, with specific reference to sections pertaining to evacuation, triage, first aid, and the role carried out by the Paramedics.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • UAE National as per government requirements
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or equivalent
  • Effective telephone communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Typewriting English
  • Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel
