Procurement Officer - Ashtaar Interiors

Ashtaar Interiors is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our expanding team.

We are looking for someone with experience in joinery and fitout projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing negotiating and procuring supplies and services to ensure timely project completion while adhering to budgetary constraints. If youre committed to excellence in procurement and ready to contribute to our success we want to hear from you!

Job Summary:

Determine and assess providers of joinery and fit out supplies.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure optimal terms.
Oversee the procurement process from order placement to delivery.
Work with project managers to estimate the amount of material required.
Keep thorough records of your purchases and stock levels.
Verify adherence to quality requirements and standards.
Keep an eye on market trends to spot new items and possible suppliers.

Qualifications:
23 years of experience in procurement particularly for interior fitout and joinery projects.
Indepth knowledge of materials used in interior fitout including wood veneer glass ironmongery hardware items lighting gypsum paints and fixtures.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong negotiation communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Preferred:
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in fastpaced projectdriven environments.
