Shift Technician- Mechanical

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly utilizing advanced tools and techniques to minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs in detail maintaining accurate logs for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all work areas comply with safety regulations and that PPE is used at all times.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues contributing to longterm solutions.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools ensuring that essential items are readily available for repairs.
