Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions. • Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and retinal detachment repairs. • Prescribe medications and provide non-surgical treatments for eye conditions. • Evaluate and manage patients with conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients with systemic conditions affecting the eyes. • Stay updated on advancements in ophthalmic technology and treatment modalities. • Educate patients about eye health, preventive measures, and treatment options.
