The Product Manager is responsible for managing a product or portfolio within the product line. The successful candidate will execute the strategy as envisioned by the Global Product Line Director or Product Line Manager. The responsibilities of this role include supporting product development and investment decisions executing product gotomarket strategy developing product marketing materials and crossfunctional collaboration to support product life cycle management.
As a Product Manager Production Enhancement you will be responsible for:
Being accountable for the functional business and financial performance of the product(s).
Serving as the products advocate both internally and externally. Conducting product demonstrations presentations and training for stakeholders customers and partners to showcase the products value proposition and benefits.
Developing a product strategy and vision based on market research customer feedback and product line goals.
Working across the organization to validate the S&OP forecast and identify products for special supply chain strategies. Working with supply chain organization to identify opportunities for cost reduction and cost optimization
Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends customer needs and opportunities for product innovation.
Defining the product roadmap and prioritizes features and enhancements accordingly.
Owning the PDM (Product development Management) process for product management. Collaborating with crossfunctional teams including Engineering & Technology supply chain Service delivery and others to achieve successful development. Participating in Stage Gates with the technology team and provides documentation as required for gate meetings
Staying uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices related to products. Aligning and leverages total supplier base to influence product line and market strategy.
Planning and executing successful product launches including defining pricing strategies positioning the product in the market and developing marketing and communication plans. Ensures technology advancements are validated with customers and regulatory agencies.
Being responsible for the product life cycle and product performance of the product. Monitors NPR/NPI performance.
Leading initiatives that combine product development and process improvement activities.
Providing technical support to Service Delivery teams for specific escalation requests.
Being responsible for leading initiatives and associated technologies to drive carbon footprint reduction.
Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelors degree in any related engineering field.
Have Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a technical support Engineer.
Be Highly initiative selfdriven strong analytical and conceptual skills flexibility.
Have a thorough understanding of P/L technology and Service Delivery requirements.
Have a strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Have the ability to develop and mentor small technical teams.
Have thorough understanding of P/L technology & service delivery requirements
Be able to work in a 24/7 service environment based on an agreed shift schedule.
Have good communication skills both verbal and written in English.
