Roles & Responsibilities · Repair mechanical systems by first dividing complex problems and then determining ways to troubleshoot them. · Perform both preventative and regular maintenance work on assigned mechanical systems to ensure that they work efficiently and to minimize chances of breakdown and downtime. · Install and repair components required to run mechanical systems properly to ensure minimum downtime. · Test all equipment for proper operations and ensure that it is properly calibrated before it is due to be used. · Create reports on malfunctions and ensure that they are timely submitted to supervisors. · Oversee inventory of required components, parts, and supplies for repairing and maintaining mechanical systems.
