Data Privacy manager

Anticipating and identifying data privacy risks, and initiating corrective action where necessary, in order to protect the interests of the Group.

 Identifying and supporting the development of strategy, policies, systems, procedures and controls in the context of privacy controls and regulations in the markets in which the Group operates.

 Participation in the development and maintenance of a strong culture of service excellence.

Key Results

Assisting with the governance and oversight of data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

 Creating and embedding the processes to detect, investigate, risk-assess and record data protection related incidents and breaches.

 Being the main contact for the business to report any data privacy breaches.

 Reviewing the breaches and guiding the businesson next steps.

 Conducting /assisting with investigations for suspected or actual privacy breaches.

 Generating breach reports.

 Assisting with any associated disciplinary, legal andremedial matters as necessary.

 Liaising with the data subject where necessary to alert them to the breach.

 Setting up the necessary processes to report data breaches to the relevant regulatory authority and liaise with representatives from such authority as needed.
