Manager Decarbonisation Sustainability

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's decarbonization strategy and roadmap, aligned with the corporate vision and goals and industry standards.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain and operations, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, carbon capture, utilization and storage, fuel replacement, electrification and low-carbon products.
• Manage and monitor the company's carbon footprint and performance indicators, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as business units, operations, R&D, finance, procurement, customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry associations.
• Lead and support cross-functional teams in carbon management projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to explore and implement innovative technologies and processes to reduce carbon footprint.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on carbon management best practices and emerging technologies.
• Prepare and communicate carbon management reports and presentations for senior management and external audiences.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about evolving carbon management regulations and best practices.
• Mentor and coach the organization to build a culture of decarbonization and accountability within the organization.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters in either Environmental, Engineering or other related fields
• +6 years professional experience in large, multinational, complex companies in energy sector driving emissions metrics and decarbonization programs
• Data analysis skills. Understanding of GHG metrics
• Experience translating GHG emissions findings into actionable recommendations for decarbonization, in particular product carbon footprint reduction levers
• Strong project management skills with cross-functional approach
• Excellent team player and communication skills with peers at all levels of the organization
