Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive cardiac examinations
- Perform and interpret non-invasive and invasive cardiac electrophysiology studies
- Perform ablation procedures to treat cardiac arrhythmias
- Implant and manage cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac electrophysiology through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various cardiac rhythm disorders through electrophysiology procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Experience in performing electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with colleagues
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex cardiac rhythm disorders
