Responsibilities
- Review ITT/RFQ documentation and interpret the scope of work for all sizes of projects.
- Work and take ownership of proposals including written proposals, presentations, etc.
- Prepare/collate manhours/qualifications for the proposal from stakeholders.
- Collaborating with centers of excellence and other affiliate offices as required to prepare a winning proposal.
- Take part in the onshore and offshore site visits for proposal preparation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors & OEMs to obtain the costs for their services
- Liaise with technology providers / Licensors as required for the proposals
- Provide customer responses (including expressions of interest, presentations, etc.)
- Ensure that the proposal is compliant and delivered on time.
- Prepare/Review/analyze proposal sections for consistency and clarity, compliance with solicitation, requirements, and alignment with proposed solutions and themes, and writes/re-wrote proposal sections as necessary to deliver high-quality, winning proposals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations (pre-proposal or post-proposal) to Clients and other internal stakeholders
- Take on the responsibility of Proposal Lead or Proposal Coordinator as required due to the workload of the proposals team including (but not limited to) the following:
- Develop and implement the proposed management plan (responsibility/compliance matrix)
- Develop and implement the proposal schedule
- Support and contribute to the continual improvement of proposal procedures and processes
Qualifications
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Typically requires 15 years in a project delivery environment
- Experience in High Sour Gas project is required.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Project Success and Benefits Management on small, standard projects.
- Basic knowledge and experience in stakeholder and requirements management
- Experience in developing basic estimates based on past performance and some understanding of the uncertainties in estimates and their currency during the project phases.
- Knows how to calculate costs and has some experience in producing planned and actual cost and invoicing needs.
- Experience in the preparation of proposals for Studies, FEED, and Detail Engineering projects is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of contract models, purpose, value in risk management, and the consequences of default.
- Awareness of project initiation processes and tools.
- Awareness of national and international quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge of the company-specific and general industry practices in locating and acquiring sub-contract goods and services.
- Knowledge of the relevant national and international legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements and consequences of non-compliance
- Knowledge of the basic principles of WBS, Networks, CPA. Awareness of task logic and durations in design, construction, or other relevant activities.
- Knowledge of the creation of project plans and S-curves using resource hours and methods for obtaining achieved progress.
