Job Summary:
The Team Leader, Payroll will be responsible for leading the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and continuous improvement of payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise Payroll Team: Manage, mentor, and develop the payroll team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of salaries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to payroll, taxes, and employee benefits.
- Payroll System Management: Maintain and optimize payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient workflow.
- Reporting: Prepare and review payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies, collaborating with HR and finance departments as needed.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation, and audit trails in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Queries: Manage and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and accurate information.
- Training and Development: Provide training to the payroll team on new systems, processes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
