Key duties of a Customer Support Assistant
- Answering telephone queries, taking sales orders, providing order updates as well as product information
- Online and telephone-based customer and supplier liaison
- Responding to email enquiries, providing technical knowledge and product information as well as control order updates, including delivery dates
- Keeping customers updated with progress of their order(s)
- Liaise with customers via the online Chat Bot portal previous experience of Live Chat would be an advantage though not essential
Skills and experience
- A minimum of two years experience of working within an office environment
- Strong customer service skills
- E-commerce customer service skills would be fab, not essential
- Excellent communicator both written, email and over the telephone
- Good attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Ability to work on own initiative
The role is based within a modern open plan office environment. You must be comfortable managing your own workload and be a great communicator.
