Key duties of a Customer Support Assistant

• Answering telephone queries, taking sales orders, providing order updates as well as product information
  
• Online and telephone-based customer and supplier liaison
  
• Responding to email enquiries, providing technical knowledge and product information as well as control order updates, including delivery dates
  
• Keeping customers updated with progress of their order(s)
  
• Liaise with customers via the online Chat Bot portal previous experience of Live Chat would be an advantage though not essential
  

Skills and experience

• A minimum of two years experience of working within an office environment
  
• Strong customer service skills
  
• E-commerce customer service skills would be fab, not essential
  
• Excellent communicator both written, email and over the telephone
  
• Good attention to detail and accurate data entry
  
• Ability to work on own initiative
  

The role is based within a modern open plan office environment. You must be comfortable managing your own workload and be a great communicator.
