- You will be functionally responsible for the regional FCL P & L.
- You will execute the global core carrier strategy.
- You will drive the corporate trade strategy together with the MEA Trade and country teams.
- You will define trade strategies in conjunction with Global and executes the same with the MEA Trade and country teams.
- You will ensure that the countries adhere to the carrier budgets.
- You will ensure that the regions and countries have Trade budgets set up and adheres to it.
- You will negotiate contracts with the ocean carriers both on short and long term.
- You will drive improvement in Yield and Allocation Mng through process change and automation.
- You will optimize the business based on Yield management with the MEA Trade and country Teams.
- You will actively manage relationships with ocean carriers.
- You will take personal ownership of our large customers from a product perspective.
- You will coordinate and align the commercial approach together with OCC and Sales and Marketing.
- You will support the regional as well as local OCC organization on RFQs.
- You will oversee large tenders and ensures efficient execution with all stake holders.
- You will make decisions about financial risk taking on a broader global scale incl. VID distribution and set up.
- You will be responsible for the Route Development in the countries.
- You will sponsor various large customers in the region.
- You will report functionally to the Global Head of FCL and to the Regional Head of Ocean Freight.
Now, here’s what we need from you
- Must be able to travel internationally ca. 30%
- Min. 10-15 years of experience in the OFR forwarding industry
- Used to work in a multinational environment and in a large corporation
- Seasoned manager with successful track record
- Established name in the carrier industry and well connected
- Good customer contacts
