Head of Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy, ensuring all systems align with and support the company's business goals.
• Lead the modernisation of the company's IT infrastructure, including development tool environments, with a focus on cloud and DevOps solutions.
• Manage and optimise IT infrastructure, encompassing cloud-based solutions, electronic trading, market data, and telecommunications, ensuring adherence to established SLAs.
• Enhance workspace and technologies, promoting digital solutions and maximising space utilisation to support evolving business needs.
• Partner with the Information Security Manager to develop and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, safeguarding the company's data and assets.
• Oversee business continuity planning efforts and collaborate across departments to ensure operational resilience.
• Define and implement strategic cloud initiatives and modernise development tools, aligning with long-term goals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT infrastructure roadmap, guiding the company through its technological evolution.
• Provide stakeholders with informed recommendations on global IT and digital solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Adhere to established governance frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
  

Ideal Skillset & Experience

• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams within a complex trading environment.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing IT infrastructure and system modernisation initiatives, with a focus on cloud and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices, with experience in implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with overall business objectives.
• Experience in a regulated trading environment, managing complex IT infrastructures and relevant technologies, is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant governance frameworks (COSO, JSOX) and regulations (FCA, MAS, CFTC, EMIR, DORA).
