ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze the drawing and the detailed plan; prepare and quantify material & labor cost
  
• Prepare cost of whole project based on the architectural drawings materials required and labor involved and prepare quotation
  
• Carry out various tasks in preparation of precontract cost advice from preliminary to final design stage including cost comparison of different design construction options and releasing to department manager for approval.
  
• Suggest Value engineering ideas and options wherever needed as per client requirement.
  
• Establish budget for all contracts of the work packages for project.
  
• Perform postcontract related tasks involving preparing and releasing budgets for different work packages (as per client approved BOQ) to Procurement department for further action.
  
• Prepare variation works as instructed by PM.
  
• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
  
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and where appropriate negotiate with the contractors.
  
• Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
  
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
  
• Prepare monthly bills based on work done on site
  
• Prepare reconciliation statement based on quantity of materials received quantity of material used and balance on the site; calculate material wastage.
  
• Analyze completed projects to determine ROI and compare cost
  
• Coordinate with Procurement Department for budgeting and cost analysis
  
• Track the progress of projects and update budgets
