Collaborate with senior business and HR leaders, as a subject matter expert; to strategically integrate and operationalize talent initiatives within business strategies to drive business outcomes. This includes but is not limited to talent reviews, assessments, career development, and succession planning.
Work with individual groups and bank leaders to create strategies to ensure the bank’s development and retention strategies support all employees (e.g., career pathing, professional enrichment opportunities, development programs).
Utilise talent data to support and guide employee development and career pathing discussions. Take an individualised approach to their development (1-1 support, removing roadblocks / creating opportunities, working with managers on career paths / giving feedback, etc.).
Monitor and analyse talent metrics and trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Stay current on innovations in learning design and delivery; network and build relationships with professional organisations and training providers.
Develop and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies that align with the organization's goals and values.
Partner with business leaders and recruiters to identify current and future talent needs and create talent pipelines.
Create and implement succession planning and talent mobility programs that prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles.
Build and maintain a positive and engaging work environment that fosters employee satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
