JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION: Marketing Director is responsible for day-to-day execution and implementation of Restaurant Marketing and Advertising initiatives. You will require the flexibility to be creative, think on your feet, work directly with our GMs and Chefs on how to best get their business noticed and do so with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our company thrives on individual leadership and embraces doing business in a new way. This position will contribute to brand awareness and company sales and profitability goals through traditional marketing channels as well as new and emerging digital technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Function:

  • Develop and maintain relationships and communication with key partners in Operations to create solid marketing plans and serve as the primary point of contact for venues.
  • Drive strategy and plan and execute marketing initiatives for new projects, menu changes, special menus, remodels and rebranding campaigns.
  • Manage annual marketing budgets for individual venues.
  • Manage brand promotions to drive sales
  • Manage the team of marketing department. Make sure that performance of staff is matching company requirements and team is well-maintained and organized.
  • Conduct regular research analysis of existing and new digital marketing platforms to determine effectiveness.
  • Manage online restaurant review platforms and vendors (Facebook, Trip Advisor, Instagram)
  • Approve all local print advertising and manage graphic designers on ad creation.
  • Recommend development and implement in-store marketing materials as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention marketing programs, web-based, database, and direct to consumer marketing.
  • Lead event marketing outreach for our destination properties.
  • Oversee newsletter campaigns for the group to include holiday promotions.
  • Manage advertising and public relations agencies, utilizing them as resources for brand and revenue enhancement programs.
  • Manage all digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage advertising and partnership development for specific properties.
  • Work with social media consultant to provide content.
  • Provide on-site event support where necessary.

  • Develop all relevant social media platforms for venues.
  • Devise social media guidelines and diary planner for management
  • Approve / Monitor management posts / reviews and replys
  • Management social media training
  • Staff social media training and participation incentives
  • Advertising campaigns

Newsletters

  • Maintenance and segmentation of databases
  • Devise newsletter diary planner for management
  • Maintain templates & Distribute
  • Inclusion of SMS and other relevant formats for communication
  • Internal newsletter / team building / group awareness and relevant information (also to tie in with social media incentives)

Traffic Driving

  • Affiliate relationships
  • Advertising

  • Devise and implement new and relevant marketing campaigns with operations
  • Engaging P.R

Tools required

  • App for social media engagement to analyze performance internally and identify key influencers externally. To schedule campaigns and keep management up to date on tasks and schedules
