Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Providing full support/administration for key Enterprise software and database components maintaining stability and high availability of critical systems.
• Support for the production, test and dev environment.
• Infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning
• Database Objects creation like Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Rules, Defaults Users.
• Setting up backups for the newly created databases.
• Code Migration.
• Monitoring Fusion Middleware services.
• Monitoring Database Health.
• Knowledge of Data pump
• Scheduling transfer of backups and log files to different servers.
• Responsible for maintaining integrity and security of database.
• Optimizing and maintaining databases performance.
• Responsible for data migration, cloning between multiple database environments.
• Responsible for storage, archiving, backup, and recovery of database.
• Managing users/schemas by controlling access and permissions to the database
• Responsible for maintaining database performance and availability.
• Tuning SQL queries.
• Assisting end users & developers with their issues and reports.
• Assisting network & sys-admins with issues and troubleshooting.
• Providing trainings to developers/technical teams regarding database.
• Implementing Standby database.
