Job Description

- Monitor the field machinery in accordance with the operating procedures in order to ensure the effective and optimum status of equipment.
- Monitor and ensure that all the abnormal situations and irregularities are reported to the CCR operator or Supervisor.
- Maintain a log and record-keeping for ensuring all information on the status of the equipment is available for review.
- Provide immediate first-line response in the event of emergencies or major incidents in order to eliminate or limit potential loss or damage to personnel, assets, and the environment.
- Perform cleaning activity inside the plant, production area, and packing plant, especially in areas/roads near the plant dirtied by raw materials or dust, for the purpose of a clean work environment and statutory requirements.
- Develop an understanding of all the operating procedures and processes through on the job training to ensure readiness and capability to effectively operate the allocated machinery.
- Coordinate and assist maintenance groups during the maintenance activities to ensure jobs are carried out effectively.
- Carry out production related inspections and maintenance jobs during the shutdown to ensure trouble-free operation during the running of the plant.
- Maintain cleanliness and house-keeping of operating area and machinery.
- Carry out the jobs assigned by Supervisor at the port during slag shipment/export shipment.
- Do the inspection of the heavy equipment on a daily basis / weekly basis as per trained by the third party to identify the defects, in order to operate the machinery more efficiently and avoid any breakdowns.
- Do the weighbridge operation to record the Raw Material receipt and keep the updated report.
