Chef de Partie/Cook for Viking Cruises

Viking, the #1 Ocean Cruise Line, is coming to Dubai on July 22-26, 2022, for an exclusive in-person Job Interview event.

We are interested in all levels Culinary positions:

-Bakers

-Butchers

-Chef de Parties

-Sous Chefs

Terms and conditions:

Legal employment onboard a cruise ship (6 months contract).

Free meal, accommodation, medical insurance.

Vacation for 6-10 weeks between contracts.

Salary: from 1 200 to 4 500 USD

Salary 2 times per month

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of the various menu items according to recipes and photos provided by shipboard management.

Man a station in the galley, assigned by the Executive Chef, in order to become familiar with various tasks.

Assist with the transportation of food items from the Main Stores to the galley.

Clean and sanitize work area and utensils used, in accordance with Shipsan, the European sanitation program and United States Public Health Rules and Regulations.

Qualifications:

Confidence in written and spoken English (Intermediate and upward)

Professional education (any level)

Minimum 1-2 years in the profession in quality hotels, restaurants or cruise ship environments
