Warehouse Manager LOCATION: Harahan, LA COMPANY: Started in 1954, C&L Supply, Inc. is a family-owned distribution company that serves independent appliance and furniture dealers in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. We strive to provide our customers with superior customer service through our sales approach and delivering our product on our private fleet of trucks. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: · Responsible for oversight of warehouse and delivery/logistics operations for Harahan distribution center. · Supervise, develop and train personnel including: o Warehouse operations team o Truck driver delivery team · Proactively communicate to management the opportunities and challenges within the warehousing and logistics operations for the Harahan location. · Maintain and monitor internal controls over inventory and delivery process. · Loading, unloading, and stocking product (appliances and furniture). · Operate forklift and other material handling equipment. · Pull customer orders. · Perform duties accurately and safely. JOB REQUIRMENTS: · Warehouse management experience. · Operational experience including understanding of warehouse and warehouse equipment operations. · Operational experience surrounding outbound logistics and trucking is a plus. · Strong organizational, leadership, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills. · Ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals by developing and communicating with staff. · Demonstrate proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Office. · Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull 60-pound weight requirements. WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full time, hourly position (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday. Occasionally may be required to work on evenings and/or weekends.
