Position: Technician DRP Mechanical Shift
Location: Abu Dhabi UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Shift Senior Mechanic and contractors in all mechanical maintenance activities.
- Execute preventive corrective and major maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures identify root causes and provide solutions.
- Inspect equipment to meet engineering safety and quality standards.
- Follow the companys mechanical maintenance standards and OEM recommendations.
- Adhere to all safety health environmental and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: ITI Technical Certificate (Mechanical)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) or Direct Reduction Plant (DRP) mechanical maintenance in a steel plant
- Experience in oil & gas or other process industries is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting teamwork and communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
