Role Overview:
Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced Engineer Mechanical Completion (E&I) to support oil & gas offshore marine and EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical Completion activities conducting E&I system walkdowns managing punch lists verifying inspection and test records and ensuring systems are ready for safe handover to the commissioning team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Mechanical Completion activities for Electrical & Instrumentation systems.
- Perform system walkdowns and prepare/close punch list items.
- Verify installation inspection testing calibration and completion records.
- Review Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) and turnover documentation.
- Coordinate with Construction QA/QC Commissioning and Client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications drawings ITPs and international standards.
- Support system handover and commissioning readiness activities.
- Prepare Mechanical Completion reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Completion E&I Construction QA/QC or Commissioning within the Oil & Gas Offshore Marine or EPC industry.
- Experience with Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) punch list management and system turnover.
- Familiarity with P&IDs Loop Drawings Single Line Diagrams Wiring Diagrams and commissioning documentation.
- Knowledge of E&I testing activities including loop checks continuity testing insulation resistance testing and instrument calibration.
- Familiarity with IEC ISA API ASME and relevant industry standards.
- Strong communication coordination and documentation skills.
Required Skills:
