Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced Engineer Mechanical Completion (E&I) to support oil & gas offshore marine and EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical Completion activities conducting E&I system walkdowns managing punch lists verifying inspection and test records and ensuring systems are ready for safe handover to the commissioning team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Mechanical Completion activities for Electrical & Instrumentation systems.
Perform system walkdowns and prepare/close punch list items.
Verify installation inspection testing calibration and completion records.
Review Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) and turnover documentation.
Coordinate with Construction QA/QC Commissioning and Client representatives.
Ensure compliance with project specifications drawings ITPs and international standards.
Support system handover and commissioning readiness activities.
Prepare Mechanical Completion reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Completion E&I Construction QA/QC or Commissioning within the Oil & Gas Offshore Marine or EPC industry.
Experience with Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) punch list management and system turnover.
Familiarity with P&IDs Loop Drawings Single Line Diagrams Wiring Diagrams and commissioning documentation.
Knowledge of E&I testing activities including loop checks continuity testing insulation resistance testing and instrument calibration.
Familiarity with IEC ISA API ASME and relevant industry standards.
Strong communication coordination and documentation skills.
