Job Title:Restaurant Supervisor Location:Dubai United Arab Emirates Employment Type:Full-Time
Responsibilities
* Supervise lead and motivate the front-of-house team including waiting staff hosts and bar staff to deliver outstanding service. * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant ensuring a smooth and efficient service from opening to closing. * Manage guest reservations seating arrangements and the overall flow of the dining room to optimise capacity and guest satisfaction. * Act as a point of contact for guest feedback promptly and professionally resolving any issues to ensure a positive experience. * Assist in the training and development of new and existing team members ensuring they are knowledgeable about menus service standards and procedures. * Uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness hygiene and safety throughout the restaurant in compliance with all local regulations. * Support the Restaurant Manager with administrative tasks including staff scheduling inventory control and daily sales reporting. * Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials targets and important operational information to the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high-quality fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. * Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. * A comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations including front-of-house procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems. * Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. * The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and public holidays. * A genuine passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to excellence.
