MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide dedicated support guidance and education to physicians on clinical coding through effective collaboration between different role players and physicians to ensure quality documentation and mitigate financial risk for the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To evaluate and improve the quality of clinical documentation and coding to ensure financial efficiencies for the company
To provide ongoing education and assistance to physicians on clinical coding to improve denial rates and optimise revenue
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
A CDI qualification will be an advantage
Certification as a coder
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years experience in OPD billing Coding and clinical documentation improvement in a healthcare setting in Abu Dhabi
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Billing and coding regulations
- Computer Literacy (Mircosoft)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Medical Records
