Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of quality control procedures on marine repair or shipbuilding projects
Conduct inspections during fabrication welding and fitting stages
Assist in identifying and reporting non-conformities and suggest corrective actions
Coordinate with the project production and inspection teams to ensure quality standards are met
Perform material inspections and prepare relevant documentation (ITPs MIRs WPS etc.)
Help maintain QA/QC documentation and records for audits and client submissions
Work under the guidance of senior QAQC engineers and participate in client/internal audits
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or related field
2 years of experience in marine repair shipbuilding or maintenance (UAE or home country)
Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures and inspection tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of welding fitting and fabrication standards used in the marine industry
Familiarity with ISO/QMS systems is a plus
Willing to relocate/work in Dubai
