JOB SUMMARY
The PR Executive is part of a dynamic team responsible for supporting property-level communications to our customers and media. Reporting to the PR Manager this role helps deliver on-brand messaging through traditional media digital platforms and social channels with the goal of enhancing the hotels image and visibility. This position plays a key supporting role in preparing press materials coordinating media activities and assisting with the execution of PR campaigns that build awareness drive positive coverage and strengthen the hotels brand presence. The PR Executive will also be expected to carry out essential administrative tasks such as updating media contact lists maintaining coverage trackers organising press kits scheduling content. The role works closely with the communications eCommerce and marketing teams to ensure that local PR efforts are aligned and effectively integrated with wider sales and marketing initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Strong verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages advantageous
Strong writing editing and proofreading skills
Creative thinker with experience identifying and executing communications for new ideas
A team player who works well with others and contributes to the teams success
Highly focused self-starter with attention to detail strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment
Mastery of MS Office PowerPoint Excel Teams and basic graphic design computer software
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Public Relations
Devise creative public relations strategies that fit the company profile
Develop effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics
Organize and coordinate PR activities
Use a variety of channels (TV press internet etc.) to maximize company exposure
Liaise with marketing professionals to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image
Arrange for interviews or public speaking events and construct press releases
Advise company on handling sensitive public issues to preserve reputation
Assess opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations
Analyze results of PR campaigns or efforts and prepare reports
Basic Competencies - Fundamental competencies required for accomplishing basic work activities.
Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g. personal computers word processing software Internet browsers etc.).
Oral Comprehension - Demonstrates ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Reading Comprehension - Demonstrates understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
Writing - Communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
