ملخص الوظيفة

  • Extensive knowledge of Personal Training and classes being taught.
  • An understanding of current trends in fitness and wellness. 
  • Knowledge of anatomy physiology muscular function exercise program implementation safe group exercise or instructional procedures and use of related class materials and/or equipment.
  • Lead and motivate team to a level of service which exceeds all guest expectations by facilitating teamwork and ensuring all duties are performed in a consistent manner and in the time allocated.
  • To maintain close contact with guests receiving feedback regarding the operation of the Spa and recreational facilities of the hotel.
  • Ability to manage cultural diversity.
  • Meet requirements of VIP guests.
  • Express continuous commitment to participant development.
  • Advocate of safety and risk management.
  • To promote the Fitness area Personal training sessions classes.
  • Encourage sales through full product and price knowledge of offered and available facilities.
  • Act in accordance with all hotel policies personnel policies spa policies and procedures including all Health and Sanitary regulations.
  • Provide optimum service through staff training coaching feedback and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor products and accessories used in the Spa & Recreation department to ensure all budgets are achieved and adhered to.
  • To assist in the preparation of yearly operating operation equipment and capital expenditure budget.
  • Prepares daily revenue reports and monthly usage reports.
  • To ensure that all employee report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
  • To assist in the building of an efficient team of employee by striving to maintain standards of excellence.
  • To conduct employee evaluations for all Spa & Recreation department positions to review existing performance and identify any areas for further development and improvement.
  • To interview potential new employee in liaison with the People & Culture department.
  • To supervise departmental orientation programs for new employee. 
  • To conduct training courses for new employees and a regular refresher course for existing employees.
  • Offers suggestions and makes recommendations to the management on ideas for improving the spa operation and performance.      
  • Full responsibilities of the gym health club swimming pool guest facilities and equipment maintenance.    
  • Following on maintenance contract and warranties.       

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment in the UAE is required.
  • Holder of the relevant professional certifications and licenses required to operate within the UAE.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading small teams across Gym/Health Club Swimming Pool and Spa operations.
  • Strong understanding of wellness trends guest lifestyle programming and recreation-focused guest experiences.
