Job Description:
- Develop manage and update detailed BIM models (LOD 300-500) for architectural components throughout design and construction stages.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and other disciplines to ensure accurate model integration and coordination.
- Prepare and organize BIM deliverables including drawings schedules and clash detection reports.
- Ensure BIM models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) company standards and local authority regulations (e.g. Dubai Municipality Abu Dhabi DMT).
- Participate in coordination meetings and resolve clashes or model discrepancies.
- Support project teams with BIM-related technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Revit families and BIM libraries according to project requirements.
- Provide input to design development and construction documentation phases.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in architectural BIM modeling.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the UAE working for well-known design consultancy firms in the GCC.
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit with knowledge of Navisworks AutoCAD and BIM 360.
- Sound understanding of UAE building codes standards and approval processes.
- Ability to interpret and model from architectural and engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
- Experience with large-scale commercial residential or mixed-use projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g. Enscape Lumion) is a plus.
