We are seeking a skilled motivated and quality-focused Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a reputable 4-star hotel in Dubai. This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who thrives in a structured hotel kitchen environment and is passionate about delivering consistent high-quality food for international guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist overseeing daily kitchen operations
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during service
Ensure food preparation and presentation meet hotel quality standards
Maintain consistency in taste portioning and plating
Enforce food safety hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
Monitor kitchen cleanliness organization and equipment use
Assist with staff training scheduling and performance monitoring
Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure timely food delivery
Support menu planning cost control and waste reduction initiatives
Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel environment
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
Good knowledge of international and hotel-style cuisine
Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Fluent in English
Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays
Salary & Benefits:
Basic Salary:AED 5200 per month plus Service Charge
