Senior QA Engineer

Role Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer who will design and execute robust automated and manual test strategies that ensure high quality and performance of our software actively collaborating with development team and business stakeholders and driving the testing process to meet project goals and timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using java-based testing frameworks.

• Implement and manage manual testing processes to complement automation efforts.

• Design and execute test plans and test matrices to ensure thorough coverage of application functionality.

• Utilize JIRA for efficient test management including requirements analysis test case development execution and reporting.

• Implement Agile methodologies throughout the testing process.

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) gather user feedback identify defects and prepare detailed testing reports.

• Apply CI/CD principles through to enhance testing efficiency.

• Manage code repositories effectively using Git.

• Collaborate with development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with user requirements.

• Participate in improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Maintain and improve automation scripts.

Expertise & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience in software testing both automated and manual typically 7 years.

• Strong Proficiency UI and API test automation using various Java-based testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Cucumber Selenium and ).

• Solid Experience with Java Programming and BDD.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems.

• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

• Experience with CI/CD practices utilizing Jenkins and Git.

• Experience with code reviews branching strategies and release management.

• Guide and provide support to mid-level QA Engineers

• Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
