Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.
The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Learn about Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESHIA) Studies calculations sketches diagrams and project models as per specific discipline requirements.
- Assist in drafting and finalizing environmental reports under the supervision of experienced Engineers/Scientists.
- Apply design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines.
- Perform work under supervision to meet agreed-upon budget and schedule.
- Collect and analyze information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project datasets.
- Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering and environmental problems.
- Coordinate with other discipline Engineers/Scientists to maintain continuity in the environmental study process.
- Participate in study evaluation progress and coordination meetings.
- Ensure the quality of models surveys and study teams meet accuracy requirements for reporting.
- Actively seek information opportunities to participate and contribute to project efficiencies.
- Solve problems and apply theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.

- Is proficient in using computer software for engineering and environmental analysis.

- Is eager to learn and develop skills in environmental reporting and analysis.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in one of the following fields from an accredited University
- Environmental Engineering
- Environmental Science/Studies
- Marine Engineering
- Sustainable Energy and Technology
- Geography and Environmental Science
- Ecology and Conservation
- Architecture and Environmental Design
- Sustainable Urban Environments
- Candidates must be recent graduates having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024 to be eligible for AECOMs Graduate Program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
- If you hold a Masters Degree it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelors Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
- Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
