Job Overview

A skilled Mechanical Design Engineer is required to design develop and optimize mechanical systems and components for industrial manufacturing or construction projects. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient cost-effective and high-quality design solutions aligned with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components systems and assemblies using engineering principles
  
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using design software
  
• Perform calculations simulations and analysis to validate design performance
  
• Review project specifications and ensure designs meet client and regulatory requirements
  
• Collaborate with production project and quality teams for design implementation
  
• Conduct design modifications based on feedback and site requirements
  
• Prepare technical documentation BOM (Bill of Materials) and reports
  
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and international standards (ASME ISO etc.)
  
• Support troubleshooting and provide technical solutions during project execution
  

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  
• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering
  
• Experience in industrial manufacturing MEP or EPC projects preferred
  
• Prior experience working on overseas or Gulf projects is an added advantage
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA or Inventor
  
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards
  
• Experience in 3D modeling drafting and design validation
  
• Understanding of materials manufacturing processes and tolerances
  
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
