This role is for a Dubai-based construction and property development company which is a leading developer of premium and luxury freehold properties in the UAE has operated since 2002 and runs an in-house construction division supporting landmark projects in Dubai.

Location: Dubai UAE
Salary Range: AED 16000 - 22000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of UAE experience
Mandatory Requirement: Valid Dubai Municipality license

Role Overview

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for structural design review coordination technical support and site-related engineering input for high-value construction and property development projects in Dubai. This role requires a technically strong engineer with deep UAE market experience practical knowledge of authority requirements and the ability to work closely with architects project teams consultants and the in-house construction division.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and develop structural design solutions for residential villa apartment and mixed-use developments in Dubai.
• Coordinate with architects MEP engineers consultants and project management teams to ensure structural integrity and efficient design integration.
• Verify structural drawings calculations shop drawings method statements and material submittals before execution.
• Ensure all structural works comply with Dubai Municipality regulations relevant UAE codes project specifications and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site and construction teams on structural execution matters sequencing and issue resolution.
• Attend design and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to support timely project delivery.
• Review variations value engineering proposals and structural modifications while minimising risk to cost time and quality.
• Support authority submissions approvals inspections and technical documentation as required for project compliance in Dubai.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a masters degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience in the UAE construction industry.
• A valid Dubai Municipality license is mandatory.
• Strong experience in structural engineering for residential luxury villa apartment or mixed-use developments.
• Solid understanding of UAE building regulations authority approvals and construction quality standards.
• Proficiency in relevant structural design and engineering software.
• Strong analytical coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a developer-contractor environment supported by an in-house construction division.
