Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and reliable Technician Heavy Machinery to support the maintenance repair and servicing of heavy equipment across various project sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge hands-on experience with construction machinery and the flexibility to work across different locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Technician Heavy Machinery include but are not limited to:

• Perform maintenance servicing and repair of heavy machinery such as excavators loaders cranes and trucks

• Diagnose mechanical hydraulic and electrical faults and carry out effective troubleshooting

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Repair or replace defective parts and components in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate service records maintenance logs and job reports

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

• Coordinate with workshop and site teams for equipment availability and repair schedules

• Attend breakdowns on-site and provide quick and efficient solutions

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Assist in minimizing equipment downtime and improving operational efficiency

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 35 years of experience in maintenance of heavy machinery or construction equipment

• Strong knowledge of mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently

• Familiarity with workshop tools equipment and maintenance procedures

• Basic understanding of safety standards and practices

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditions

• Flexible proactive and able to work independently

• UAE driving license is an advantage
