We are seeking a Senior Technician to support engine disassembly assembly and inspection activities within an aviation MRO environment. The role requires strict adherence to approved technical data quality and regulatory standards and contributes to a safe ethical and collaborative team culture. The Senior Technician also supports junior colleagues develops their own technical skillset and ensures compliance with aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Engine Management Process Execution (50%)
Perform engine disassembly assembly and inspection tasks using approved technical data
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with aviation and HS&E regulations
Ethical Leadership and Team Culture (25%)
Promote professionalism fairness and integrity in day-to-day team interactions
Maintain open communication and raise safety or ethical concerns responsibly
Technical Competency Development (15%)
Develop and maintain personal technical capability through continuous learning
Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance to support skill development
Resource Allocation and Compliance Oversight (10%)
Assist in preparing tools equipment and resources required for engine tasks
Support compliance activities and escalate discrepancies to meet aviation standards
Minimum Requirements
Associate vocational or technical qualification in Aviation Aeronautical Engineering MRO or related field
D2 authorisation in relevant processes or equivalent certification
Minimum 3 years of technical experience in an aviation or MRO environment
Key Competencies
Strong practical knowledge of engine maintenance repair and overhaul activities
IT competency for reporting data input and maintenance system use
Commitment to quality and safety management principles
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving maintenance processes
Precision and accuracy when performing technical tasks
High safety awareness and hazard identification capability
Effective time-management and ability to complete tasks within deadlines
