About the Role:
Reporting to the CEO and the Board of Directors the Business Development Director must bring a credible track record within the international longterm savings life assurance or intermediaryled financial services sector.
Our client operates internationally across the Middle East Africa Asia and Latin America distributing its longterm savings and life assurance products through independent financial advisers and institutional partners.
This requires a leader who not only understands global adviserdriven distribution but has a history of opening new markets building new intermediary networks and securing partnerships in the regions in which our client operates.
- Developing new intermediary or institutional distribution channels for Hansard within the international life assurance market for products such as unitlinked policies regularpremium and singlepremium solutions and taxefficient structures.
- Driving business development activity across multiple geographies mirroring Hansards footprint across the Middle East Africa Asia and Latin America.
- Achieving measurable growth through new business acquisition reflecting the companys emphasis on new business generation.
- Extensive global travel will be required
Qualifications:
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate relationships with senior decisionmakers across IFAs wealth managers and financial institutions showing a consistent ability to open doors build credibility quickly and create longterm valuedriven partnerships.
- This role demands someone with recognised industry standing commercial acuity and a proven ability to navigate products partners and regulators across international savings and life assurance sectors and willingness to travel.
This role can be based in the United Kingdom or United Arab Emirates.
