Job Description
Overview
AtkinsRéalis Urban Development and Design practice in the Middle East is growing and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team Emirati National Only.We undertake projects across the region ranging from strategic visioning through to detailedmaster planningfor everything from small transit-oriented developments to large new cities.
Your role
- Developing masterplans and urban design concepts supported with 3D models and other graphics preparing well-structured andgraphically-compellingreports and presentations and being responsible for production of drawings and coordination of concept design schematic design and detail design documents.
- Managing project work effectively and proactively under the guidance of the person in charge coordinating with team-mates and other consultants/engineering disciplines or being a part of a team sharing that responsibility.
- Showing commitment to raising design standards improving your skills keeping up with the latest technical and digital developments and with the field ofurbanism generally.
About you
- Completion of a three- to five-year architecture / landscape / urban planning or other relevant degree program with post-graduation completion of a one- or two-year urban design / planning program / degree.
- 1-3 years relevant professional experience. Fresh graduates may apply.
- Working knowledge of standard regulations and best practice principles with strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of mid- to large-scalemaster planningprojects. Knowledge ontransit orienteddevelopment industrial and/or leisure/tourismmaster planningprojects is a plus.
- Proficiencyin MS Office Adobe Suite RhinoAutoCADand SketchUp. Knowledge of specialized graphics software such as GIS and smart plug-ins coding and AI-related programs or comparable software is a plus.
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to clearly describe design concepts with words and images.
- Knowledge of and interest in Middle East is a plus.
