Job Title : Electrical Engineer - UAE National only
Sector: Infrastructure / Rail / Industrial / Construction Projects
Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates
Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing reviewing installing and testing electrical systems for assigned projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications safety standards and engineering best practices while supporting project execution from planning through commissioning in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Review contract documents drawings and specifications to prepare electrical deliverables.
Prepare BOQs load calculations single-line diagrams and technical submittals.
Coordinate with consultants clients vendors and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Conduct site inspections and support troubleshooting corrective actions and close-out.
Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and KPIs.
Assist in project planning scheduling and resource management activities.
Support FAT SAT and system handover procedures.
Identify risks related to electrical works and recommend mitigation measures.
Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain updated as-built drawings.
Support procurement activities and commercial/technical evaluation of electrical materials.
Follow HSE policies and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within infrastructure industrial railway or construction projects.
Strong technical background in:
Power distribution systems
Control panels and LV/MV systems
Cable routing and protection systems
Testing & commissioning of electrical equipment
Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant discipline).
Professional certifications (e.g. Electrical Safety LV/MV Systems) are an advantage.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
