We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Director of Engineering to oversee the engineering operations of Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites and La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance safety sustainability and operational efficiency across both properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the engineering teams across both hotels ensuring smooth operations and preventive maintenance.
Oversee all mechanical electrical HVAC and civil systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives in line with Minor Hotels Green Growth 2050 strategy.
Manage departmental budgets cost control and capital expenditure planning.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and hotel brand standards.
Support projects renovations and upgrades while minimizing guest impact.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement safety and teamwork within the engineering department.
Qualifications :
Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in hotel engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of hospitality maintenance systems and sustainability practices.
Excellent leadership problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to manage multi-property operations with strong financial acumen.
