Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Processing of Investments Swaps Structured transactions initiated by Treasury Capital Market Treasury Structure Solution desk. Ensure Adequate record maintenance Reconciliations of portfolios MTM accruals MIS reporting system improvements. Ensure timely settlements and processing corporate support to process Wealth Management Mutual Fund transactions.
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Process Capital Markets deals including Counterparty and Client Sukuk deals Equities Profit Rate Swaps Structured Products Proprietary Investments corporate actions and supporting wealth management in processing subscription/ redemption/switching with the source document whenever required
- Monitoring daily settlements periodic returns accounting entries follow ups in case of non-receipt of due funds and Securities.
- Input Creation Online / Xact / Euroclear settlement messages Outward Payment for foreign currency / local currency and inform treasury Static data update in Avantgard System for new Sukuks and Equities
- Reconciling the Euroclear / Clearstream position with the Position records in Avantgard.

- Ensuring sufficient support is provided during IPO events in order to successfully and efficiently complete the exercise.
- Perform month end activities for Treasury Structure solution and capital market deals (Reconciliation MTM Statements Monthly accruals posting Revaluation of Sukuk Equities and preparing Profit rate swaps settlement documents)
- Tracking and preparing Collateral margin exchanges between counterparties. Ensuring all deals are booked and entries are posted. Reconciling the monthly Collateral Margin profit statement received from counterparties.
- Month End MIS reporting to CRM FCD and Business units
- Investigate counterparty and other business units inquiries and work to solve reported issues.
- Report any significant exceptions or deviation to line manager for further instructions / guidance.
- Periodically evaluate the TIFO operational processes and recommend suitable changes to improve efficiency and controls.
- Supervising the arrangements of proper & organized filing. Ensuring follow-up diary system of the departments records is maintained and archival is done on a timely basis.
- Attend training programs to improve skills knowledge in order to enhance role performance and provide training to junior staff under the cross functional training program.
- Ensure compliance to ADIB policies procedures guidelines standards and maintaining high standard of operational controls.
- Undertake any additional assignments / projects entrusted by the line management and complete them as per target dates.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred Commerce (Accounting & Business)
- Knowledge of Islamic Banking & Treasury products.
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices & regulations.
- Risk & Controls awareness and analytical skills.
