Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. NH Collection employees always find new ways to look after the business their guests and their colleagues. Within this the key responsibilities for this position are:

  1. Financial Management:
    • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
    • Assist in budget development and monitoring for residential properties.
    • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
    • Manage banking relationships and reconcile bank statements.

 

  1. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
    • Analyse data to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for management decisionmaking.
    • Conduct regular financial audits and present findings to senior management.

 

  1. Compliance and Process Improvement:
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance controls.
    • Implement and maintain internal control systems to ensure financial data integrity.
    • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure organisational compliance.

 

  1. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Collaborate with property managers homeowners associations and other stakeholders to address financial concerns and support strategic planning initiatives.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to board members and executives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and project managers.

 

  1. Management Rental Scheme:
    • Oversee rental pool operations including P&L preparation VAT invoicing profit distribution and budget preparation.
    • Respond to unit owners queries and manage related financial processes.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimise rental income and occupancy rates.

 

  1. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage and mentor the accounting team providing guidance and support.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.

 

  1. Strategic Financial Planning:
    • Contribute to the development of longterm financial strategies and goals.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align financial objectives with overall business strategy.

Qualifications :

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
    • Previous experience in property management accounting or real estate finance preferred.
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Yardi or MRI.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
    • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
