About the role
The Business Development Manager will support the Managing Principal Europe and MENA for all issues relating to Business Development for the firm across Middle East.
Key Objectives
- Identify potential projects and collaborate with the Managing Principals on the preparation of submissions for competitions and awards as agreed with the Managing Principals;
- Coordinate and prepare tender submissions including prequalifications expression of interest and request for proposals;
- Responsible for submission coordination and preparation;
- Maintain and update the Companys extensive electronic database of tender submissions and frequentlyused key submission information;
- Research / identify and events business development opportunities;
- Perform all other duties as required with the nature of the role.
Qualifications :
- Degree educated or relevant years of industry experience;
- Proven track record of success in sourcing and converting opportunities to contract;
- Previous working experience and knowledge of the architectural industry is highly desirable;
- Ability to communicate professionally across all levels both internally and externally;
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Ability to build relationships at all levels;
- Sound commercial acumen able to work with integrity ensuring matters are dealt with confidentially;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills; Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Organized and able to multi task and prioritize;
- Professional manner and approachable.
