We are hiring for a National Business Development to develop and interact with our National Key Customers.
Your Role
The purpose of the role is to develop our pool of National Customers using all tools available to you in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by Management across the NA Channel: Customer KN Relationship Management ensuring strong relationships throughout both organizations and at as many levels as possible. Positioning ourselves to gain as much locally decided & billed business as possible including SPOT businesses that may help to prove our services. By performing both points 1 & 2 position KN to be in a strong position to participate and win national regional and/or global RFQs Tenders or Bids. Focus on National Accounts where KN can make difference and secure business locally billed.
Your Responsibilities
- Directly Manage and Sell all National Key Accounts where present in country
- Directly manage and prospect for additional accounts as deemed necessary and agreed upon by the National Sales Manager / Business Unit Managers
- Meet or exceed set Targets & Goals as determined by the company
- Act as the main liaison between Customer and KN contacts to ensure an aligned approach
- Build strong relationship with as many points of contact possible to ensure a long standing business partnership
- Understand and communicate local Customer needs throughout the organization
- Act as the single point of (selling) contact for ALL KN services and solutions
- Communicate/support and coordinate specific customer requirements (including RFQs) with the organization
- Be the voice of the Customer and communicate such proactively with KN
- Be personally involved in all Customer requirements maintaining close communication between Customer and KN Operations / Customer Service (and management where necessary)
- Keep National Management informed of developments on their assigned Accounts
- Proactively update their own skills in relation to their assigned Vertical
- Maintain CRM inputs for all client activities and opportunities
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent;
- Work experience of at least 24 years in a Logistics Business Development position.
- Very good verbal and written knowledge of English required.
- Strong affinity with required customer quality standards;
- Ability to communicate and negotiate on all levels both internal and external
- Proven Sales experience in FCL / LCL / Air / Road
- Sales Automation Skills
- Solid PC Backgroud
- Able to Work in Team Environment
- Strong Customer Focus & Presentation Skills
