Cybersecurity Specialist

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and systems.
  
• Conduct regular security assessments vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
  
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to potential security incidents.
  
• Manage and configure security tools including firewalls intrusion detection systems (IDS) and antivirus software.
  
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and technologies.
  
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization s operations.
  
• Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  
• Prepare and present reports on security incidents vulnerabilities and risk management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
  
• Strong understanding of network protocols firewalls IDS/IPS and encryption technologies.
  
• Experience with security tools and technologies and vulnerability assessment tools.
  
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards.
  
• Proven experience in risk management incident response and security operations.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
