Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fitness Manager to join our prestigious Spa and Health Club in Dubai. The Fitness Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fitness facility including managing staff designing and implementing fitness programs ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  

  • Supervise a team of fitness instructors and personal trainers including hiring training scheduling and performance management.
    
  • Foster a positive and motivating environment for staff encouraging professional development and teamwork.
    

• Fitness Program Development:
  

  • Design and implement innovative and effective fitness programs tailored to the needs and interests of our diverse clientele.
    
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new fitness techniques and equipment to enhance program offerings.
    

• Customer Service and Member Engagement:
  

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing personalized attention to members fitness goals and needs.
    
  • Resolve member concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
    

• Operational Management:
  

  • Oversee daily operations of the fitness facility including maintenance of equipment cleanliness of the gym area and adherence to safety standards.
    
  • Manage inventory and procurement of fitness equipment and supplies within budgetary guidelines.
    

• Sales and Revenue Generation:
  

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote fitness programs and services driving membership growth and retention.
    
  • Monitor and analyze fitnessrelated revenue and expenses striving to achieve financial targets.
    

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Exercise Science Sports Management or related field.
  
• Certified Personal Trainer (e.g. ACE NASM ACSM) with additional certifications in specialty areas preferred.
  
• Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial role within a fitness center or health club setting with a track record of successful team leadership and program development.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate staff and members alike.
  
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to fitness facilities.
  
• Familiarity with fitness software and ability to use technology for program management and member engagement.
