About TAQA Petroleum Egypt
TAQA Petroleum S.A.E, subsidiary of TAQA Arabia, was established in 2008 as the first privately owned Egyptian company licensed to market petroleum products, including fuels and lubricants through a retail network of service stations under the TAQA brand name across Egypt. In 2009, TAQA Petroleum secured a strategic partnership with BP and became the sole distributor of Castrol lubricants in the Egyptian market since then. In 2018, this successful partnership further evolved into a JV partnership between TAQA Arabia and BP to manufacture and market Castrol lubricants in Egypt while TAQA Petroleum continues to be the sole distributor of Castrol lubricants in the Egyptian market. TAQA Petroleum also operates a state-of-the-art storage terminal in Suez since 2012 capable of storing up to 18MM liters of refined products.
