About Latifa Women and Children Hospital
Established in 1986. First specialized hospital in Women and Children health in UAE. It provides secondary and tertiary health care services in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatology and Pediatric Medical with 351 Bed capacity and more than 1200 staff. We are the First Government Hospital in Dubai that received Joint Commission International Accreditation for Health Care Services since 2007 and is being re-accredited every 3 years. Latifa Women and Children Hospital with other DHA hospitals was awarded the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) Distinguished Award (Distinguished Management Initiative) in 2009. It has been certified as ‘Baby Friendly Hospital’ by WHO – UNICEF since January 2010 and re-accredited every 3 years. It has been certified as ‘Mother Friendly Hospital’ by WHO – UNICEF in 2017. Also, in 2019 Latifa hospital 5 star rating as per the global star rating system for services.
